Horses

Horses benefit from acupuncture for a variety of problems.                                    

The following are some of the conditions that may be relieved:

BACK PAIN

Many performance or 'behavioural' problems can be exacerbated or even caused by underlying back pain.

You may recognise some these problems in your own horse:

  • Hypersensitivity when brushed
  • Head tossing or ear pinning
  • Teeth grinding
  • Difficulty on hills & inclines
  • Delayed warm up or relaxation ability
  • Problems presenting at jumps
  • Lack of flexibility in neck / back
  • Mounting problems (Cold backed)
  • Objection to being saddled
  • Lameness or stumbling
  • Poor concentration or 'bad' attitude
